Fountains Presidential

Bluegreen Fountains Resort is a large timeshare resort in South Orlando located on International Drive. Bluegreen Vacations was looking at additional opportunities to utilize an existing space originally programmed as retail and MILES architecture group was chosen to design Presidential level guest units to fill this space.

The first floor of Building 10 was originally designed as sales, back of house and retail spaces to support the resort.  Due to changing functional and the operational aspects of the resort, the back of house and retail were never built out and remained vacant for several years.  In that time the resort developed a need for additional Presidential level guestrooms. As the only unutilized space within the existing buildings Bluegreen decided to look at the feasibility to develop new units there.  MILES architecture group worked to develop a new floor plan type to fit these spaces and one three bedroom and four, four bedroom units were developed.  Presidential level units are typically located on the top floor of unit buildings to take advantage of the desirable surrounding views.  Since these are located on the first floor, unique amenities were developed to provide these Presidential level guest units something special.  MILES architecture group designed a special indoor playscape and private outdoor kitchen area with a private wading pool.

Working in collaboration with Studio Partnership, the units feature a large comfortable living space with adjacent open kitchen with fresh colors, fabrics and finishes. The living/kitchen space opens up to the outdoor kitchen and private pool to create a larger indoor/outdoor space.  Two master bedrooms were included that featured a soaking tub and steam shower.  The units also include a game room as a second living space.
