Boyd Joyner

Boyd has over 26 years of experience in construction design and project management in a wide range of disciplines. He began his career with a marine construction contractor for the US Army Corps of Engineers, completing several design/build contracts including three crane barges and the USACE Floating Crane Henry M. Shreve: at the time, the world’s largest inland river crane barge.

After successful delivery of the “Shreve” in 2001, Boyd moved back to Florida where he began designing custom millwork for some of Orlando’s most prestigious addresses as well as hospitals, schools, and luxury villas for a resort in Nevis, West Indies.  Since 2013, he has successfully worked as a project manager in the architectural design profession.  Boyd joined MILES architecture group in 2021 as a project manager and has continued managing many restaurant, retail, resort, and hospitality projects.

Boyd is a Winter Park-born, Florida native, and is an avid fisherman, artist, luthier, woodworker, and amateur musician. He resides in Longwood with his wife, Stephanie and their two kids, Reagan and Dylan as well as their two dogs.
